Insights from NASSCOM GCC Summit 2026: The Future of Intelligent Global Capability Centres

I recently had the privilege of attending the NASSCOM GCC Summit 2026 held at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, one of India’s most significant gatherings of Global Capability Centre (GCC) leaders, innovators, and policymakers.

The summit’s theme, “GCCs as Intelligent Stabilisers,” highlighted the evolving role of Global Capability Centres in driving AI-led transformation, operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable business growth on a global scale. The discussions reinforced how India’s GCC ecosystem is rapidly becoming a strategic hub for technology, talent, and enterprise transformation.

The event featured thought-provoking sessions from several distinguished industry leaders, including:

  • Sachin Kulkarni – President, Fiserv Global Services
  • Deepak Parekh – Chairman, HDFC
  • Paul Jeruchimowitz – Senior Managing Director & Global GCC Practice Lead, Accenture
  • Dattatri Salagame – CEO, President & Managing Director, Bosch Global Software Technologies
  • Jinya Suzuki – MUFG Global Service
  • Dr. Rajesh Puneyani – Kenvue Solutions India
  • Senior leaders from Infosys, Barclays Global Services India, Warner Bros., Wayfair, Charles Schwab, BT Group, and several other global organizations.

The summit provided valuable opportunities to exchange perspectives on artificial intelligence, future-ready operating models, leadership transformation, talent strategies, and the expanding strategic role of GCCs in shaping the global business landscape. Equally important were the discussions around collaboration opportunities between enterprises, technology providers, and innovation ecosystems.

A key highlight was hearing from Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Government of Telangana, Shri D. Sridhar Babu. His insights on Telangana’s vision, infrastructure, policy support, and emerging opportunities for GCCs offered a compelling perspective on the state’s growing importance as a destination for global investments and innovation-led growth.

The NASSCOM GCC Summit 2026 was an enriching experience that reinforced the tremendous potential of India’s GCC ecosystem to lead the next wave of digital transformation, AI adoption, and strategic business innovation worldwide.
